This authentic Hermès Himalayan 35 cm Crocodile Birkin is in pristine unworn condition, never carried. The Himalayan is possibly considered the rarest of all Hermès Birkins. Hand stitched by skilled craftsmen, wait lists of a year or more are commonplace for the leather versions. A Niloticus Crocodile Birkin is even more difficult to get and extremely rare.
Niloticus Crocodile, known as Nile crocodile and indicated by the two dots symbol, has a somewhat larger scale pattern than Porosus croc. The skin is buffed by hand repeatedly to achieve the glorious sheen. The Himalayan displays a stunning gradation of color, highlighting every scale beautifully. Neutral creams, beiges and greys blend together to mimic the spectacular Himalayan mountains. Accented with sophisticated Palladium hardware. Double rolled handles are carried in hand or at the elbow. Coordinating chevre (goat skin) lining with one side zippered pocket. Blind stamped Y. Made in France. Purchase includes padlock, keys, clochette and dust bags. FINAL SALE
