👜 DIOR'S FALL/WINTER 2022 COLLECTION: A Glimpse at the Bag Trends 🍁❄️
It appears that handbags took a back seat in Dior's Fall/Winter 2022 collection, making up just a fraction of the ensembles on display. In fact, they graced barely 25% of the runway looks. Instead, designer Maria Grazia Chiuri set her sights on uncharted territories, embracing themes of modernity and technology. The collection even featured a collaboration with the Italian company D-Air Lab, renowned for its protective functional clothing and materials designed for non-fashion purposes. Seamlessly integrated into Dior's creations, this partnership resulted in the iconic Bar Jacket gaining climate-sensitive properties—keeping you cool when it's hot and vice versa. Other innovative touches included padding and airbag technology.

As for the bags, they largely followed the footsteps of Dior's more recent styles. Of course, the classic Lady Dior bag made its presence felt, gracing the runway in black cannage-designed leather—an epitome of timeless elegance.

There was also a lone Book Tote featuring a delightful pattern that added a touch of whimsy to the collection.

The remaining handbags predominantly showcased variations of Dior's Bobby and Vibe, relatively recent additions to the brand's diverse lineup.

Not to bury the lead (though it may seem that way), there was one distinct design that caught our eye. It took the form of a leather tote, a departure from the classic Book Tote. While it bore a striking resemblance to the Chanel Grand Shopping Tote, our hunch is that it might be a tote version of the Caro.
